LoL..yeah oldie but goodie... Do they still have AMP? I had some of those. and URB...other ones like that.
Also, Electric City by the Black-eyed Peas makes me think of H-town sort of. I think the beat of the song is pretty appropriate for the overall pace of the city...
Wow, The Black Eyed Peas have a unique sound- They're one of the few artists that I tolerate on the mainstream radio these days.
I used to be obsessed with them back in their "Elephunk/Monkey Business" days.

generation Ensoniq samplers..DJ Dan.. RON D Core were the deal in your fair cityof San Francisco..Smashing Pumpkins Chi town..toppedthe airwaves..and Blur and Oasis, Ultra Vivid Scene were names people still recognized..
When I think of Houston, I think of rap songs like "Chop on Blades" or "Choppaz" for some reason.
If it's not those too it's definitely "Wanna Be A Baller".
I can't think of a pop song to associate to Houston, or New Orleans for that matter.
