What does that even mean?
Was New York the next Philadelphia or Boston?
Was Chicago to be the next NY? Or LA to be the next NY or Chicago?
"next" in terms of what?
transit? skyline? population? crime/homicides? wealth? debt? etc...
Seems like a joke thread without the qualifiers you listed...Chicago's position in the hierarchy of cities is not so cemented that you can say the next Chicago and expect people to know WTH you are talking about
