Its not racist at the slightest bit, I am white, I dont see any Asians or Hispanics in Atlanta and for a metro of 6 million it only has 800K Asians and Hispanics combined. Thats pathetic.
Peachtree corridor is urban? Give me a break, can it go against urban nabes in Philly, Boston, Baltimore, DC, Chicago, SF, NYC, LA, Miami, Pittsburgh, Paris, London, Berlin, Beijing, etc? Are you on drugs?? Those are true urban cities, not Atlanta. Theres nothing urban about Atlanta.. take it from someone who take honor of visiting real urban places.. which Atlanta lacks
So Africans, and West Indian people don't count becuase their skin is black?
Ok, so the peachtree corridor is rural, you win buddy.

No, the majority of the people in Atlanta aren't black (if it were, so what).
Atlanta is diverse no matter what you think "everybody knows".
For example, DC looks like this:
Washington-Baltimore CSA (Washington-Baltimore-Northern Virginia, DC-MD-VA-WV CSA - ACS Demographic and Housing Estimates: 2006-2008)
56.2% White Non-Hispanic
25.9% Black Non-Hispanic
8.9% Hispanic
6.7% Asian
1.8% Two or More Races
US Census Diversity Index: .604
Atlanta looks like this:
Atlanta CSA (Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Gainesville, GA-AL CSA - ACS Demographic and Housing Estimates: 2006-2008)
54.8% White Non-Hispanic
29.9% Black Non-Hispanic
9.7% Hispanic
3.9% Asian
1.1% Two or more races
US Census Diversity Index: .599
Compare that with say Boston (which is truly not that diverse):
Boston-Providence CSA (Boston-Worcester-Manchester, MA-RI-NH CSA - ACS Demographic and Housing Estimates: 2006-2008)
80.2% White Non-Hispanic
5.1% Black Non-Hispanic
7.8% Hispanic
4.6% Asian
1.3% Two or More Races
US Census Diversity Index: .346
Or Miami (which is diverse, but lacks many Asians)
Miami MSA (doesn't have a CSA: Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach, FL Metro Area - ACS Demographic and Housing Estimates: 2006-2008)
38.4% White Non-Hispanic
19.2% Black Non-Hispanic
38.9% Hispanic
2.1% Asian
0.9% Two or more races
US Census Diversity Index: .663
How far are Birmingham and Atlanta from each other, is there a lot of developed cohesion. I honestly know nothing of it outside seeing signs for it on the highways in Atlanta
