Typical eastcoast hate, isn't NYC suppose to be the big baddest wolf in the world? So why do they feel the need to always get in the business of LA? We don't have them on our minds but they sure cant get LA out of theirs
I didn't say that. I only said that your experiences as described are not evidence of fare evasion.
It is evidence, but only circumstantial. At the same time, if nobody in the car checks tickets, and I'm the one-in-20 ticket purchasers at my platform, I can't assume none among the other nineteen are not contributing to fare evasion, either.

What I go by is how many people don't have a ticket or pass when the inspectors check and it's not an overwhelming number. Maybe 5% or less is what I see.
I love the fact that the OLD is being restored and that the empty lots are disappearing. There are some beautiful old structures in downtown Los Angeles. There is so much happening dt.
DT DC is seeing a boom but a lot seems to be bland new buildings. The older historic bldgs are nice like the Willard Hotel but the new looks absolutely hideous. And there seems to be too much bland new going on there.

Just comparing how the two are booming but in different ways. Dt DC's boom is mostly ultra new and somewhat sterile imo where dt LA's is refurbishing with of course some new. That's all.
