Since I haven't been to Der Schweiss, I'd say Paris, but more realistically and patriotically -- Northern MN, WI and the UP of Michigan......so peaceful.

Default way to bring it down

Use some discretion to answer the question. It's pretty basic. Have you seen some nice 'hollywood' type areas with flashy cars, mansions, money. It's not that difficult. If that stuff isn't 'nice' to you, then shut your face and go bicker about which skyline is cooler.

Just answer the damn question.

To me, according to the discretion I used to come up with an answer - the nicest area was Orange County in SoCal. Very big homes, fatty big body cars, and flashy sports cars, fancy restaurants. To me that was one of the 'nicer' places I've seen.

See. It's not that hard.
Way to bring down the thread. Try being civil about it next time instead of abrasive. And the headline wasn't very specific as nice is clearly a vague term here.

I thought 20years made a good post actually, the obsession with "nice" stuff is pretty sickening on this forum, not the latter critique of such. People should just get their webcams hooked up, pants down, some measuring tape, and start posting. It wouldn't be much different than what goes on already.

well the headline was certainly misleading. Should have been what's the most garish place you've ever seen as garish is a lot more synonymous with the criteria. The criteria is about as deep as a soapdish.

The opposite of nice

I have no idea what the OP meant. My little slice of heaven is Mt Desert Island, Maine:

sorry people were confused when they clicked on your thread asking for the nicest place they'd ever seen and then were instead asked to share "hollywood stories". that's not exactly THEIR fault. Maybe you should name YOUR threads better. get over it.
