These cities are known for their sophisticated architectures, but which of them have the best green design when it comes to sidewalks, parks, trees, gardens, waterways(rivers and lakes) and wildlife.

I think the national mall trumps all of the other urban green spaces in the country.

Well the National Mall has cool landmarks, but as far as "green spaces" go, the mall is pretty much dead, patchy grass with a scum-filled pool.

Also disgustingly hot in the summer. I was walking down all over the mall in August a couple of years ago and was drenched in sweat due to the lack of shade and disgusting hot and humid DC summer.
