There is also plans for a LRT line to connect the AUC directly with Georgia State and Georgia Tech in the next few years.
Looking at the map it seems like West end is best for Morehouse and Spelman while Vine city is closest to Atlanta U and Morris Brown.

I left out the 7cities because it seems more comparable to other cities around its size.
DC, Bmore, ATL are all "new south" cities that in one way or another competes with one another.

I think Atlanta wins this with DC a fairly close second. To me Howard is the HBCU with the most recognition/best reputation, but when you put Morehouse and Spelman together they trump it. And with Clark-Atlanta also, Atlanta is the best city for HBCUs.

With 1-3 being essentially even. They are the true cream of the crop when it comes to HBCUs in every regard.

Howard has way more prestige and name recognition than Spellman and Morehouse but the ATL is an HBCU city.

Cheyney and Lincoln are the oldest HBCU's in the country.
