Parts of Koreatown feel like you're in asia. They have their own hotels offices grocery stores indoor malls etc. It would easily b a destination in Philly sorry. Beats the crap out of your China town which is gritty too. I remember seeing a lot of trash and filthy streets there. South Philly too.

Pwright, what's wrong with North Hollywood and Ventura Blvd? Neither are really huge destinations to me either, but certainly are not places I would outright avoid... Citywalk however is another story.
Maybe not avoid completely, then again yes I would completely avoid City Walk. Ventura Blvd I'v been on a few times but no reason or desire to go there. North Hollywod is ok.

The fact a guy from Philly is taking shots at LA due to grime and crime is hilarious.

Why don't you check your own backyard sometime.

Who on earth are you referring to? I disagree with BillyJacc's point of view but it is pretty clear this poster is from Los Angeles.

While Philly has lots of crime and decay issues, Center City doesn't. Not perfect, but it doesn't have anything as sketchy as parts of downtown San Francisco.

I think he just lives here. It's pretty obvious he's a Philly guy.

That's fine but he's stretched this thing out past downtown borders.
