Miami, la, and NYC have the most full time celebs.

Ski towns aren't worth mentioning cause most celebs don't live in those houses for much of the year.

Austin, Nashville, phoenix and Atlanta are secondary markets. Lots of retired and and semi retired athletes/actors in those markets. And the list of working celebs grows every year

It seems in the news like a lot of celebs pulled out of Manhattan during and even some before Covid.

During Covid I did also notice some celebs moving to Austin(Jamie Lynn Siegler).

Not all but most celeb homes in Miami/SFL are not primary.

NYC is still second behind LA. The rest is spread out really, in places like Austin, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Bay Area etc..

Also why do some people on here act like the News/Media industries have a huge presence in LA? The answer is they don't!

NYC is the Media mecca of the world whether it's for News, Sports, etc. Every network is HQ'd in NY, not LA. ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN in NY wayyy before they ever showed up in LA.

There are so many members of the media that celebs in that field alone in NY probably outdo all celebs in LA in sheer numbers.

LA is for Hollywood elites, Reality TV "people" who make it big and go there because they're from anywhere USA, athletes and musicians which NYC also is. The difference is...NYC is sooo much more diverse in its Celeb elite by industry than LA.

NYC wins.
NYC over LA? I doubt that.

I think other parts of Florida outside of Miami are starting to attract celebrities too. Tampa especially.

NYC wins.
Agreed. If we're limiting the definition of "celebrity" to film and television stars as well as musicians who are there primarily for proximity to those respective industries, LA is the clear winner. But if we take into account theater actors (as well as film and TV people who prefer to live in NYC and go to LA to work when they have to), writers, chefs, musicians in non-"pop" genres like jazz, opera and classical, as well as the continually dwindling group of folks we used to call "public intellectuals," NYC has no peer in this country (or the world, with the possible exception of London).
