Both cities are very much alike. They are both the product of sprawl. Transplants make up a good percentage of their populations.

Atlanta is more similar to Orlando than it is to DC.

I'll give Atlanta some credit and say it does have some similarities to D.C.
Okay maybe not city proper but the DC suburbs are similar to ATL and its suburbs.
