Everyone seems to complain that there traffic is the worst. I'm excluding L.A. on this poll since it takes the cake for the absolute worst. Besides Los Angeles, what city would you rank as America's worst traffic city?

Washington DC- (When I went to NY on 95, the traffic is pretty much stopped dead through the entire DC area from Fairfax County until you got north of the whole mess, every time I go)
Orlando, Fla (only one free expressway, and a bunch of utterly useless toll roads, uncontrolled sprawl, poor planning)
Atlanta
I hardly think my traffic in the Fort Lauderdale area is so bad. We only have one highway that experiences delays during Rush Hour, and traffic moves with few exceptions (Except for the MANY accidents) on most local roads and highways, during both rush hour and non peak times. The main problem down here is that nobody KNOWS how to drive.

Denver is the best in my opinion , huston and phenix are close at the end
I believe that Houston is next to L.A. when it comes to have BAD traffic. I've driven down there quite often and it's a pain. I believe that Phoenix' traffic really isn't that bad for a city of its' size. We have a well-setup freeway grid though...
I agree with SpeedyAZ, Houston is close behind LA, Ive driven at all times and on all freeways in Houston. Houston is becoming like LA in a sense that there is no "fixed" rush hour. If you drive on 45 through downtown either way, you will almost certainly find traffic at all hours except late nights. One time i was driving from my home (alief SW houston) to woodlands (north) at around 3:30 pm on a tuesday, i swear it took me two hours to get there. Its not just the population growth, but its also the slow construction.
That whole stretch from King of Prussia to Valley Forge to Philly is a parking lot every single day. Thank god I barely have to go there. I don't know how the commuter's deal. I thought Jersey was bad until I discovered that nightmare.
