Dude Chicago's greatest aspect is that it's such a drop dead gorgeous city in the Loop and River North. The only places whose urban setting I think is prettier would probably be Seoul, Hong Kong, & Dubai respectively. New modern looking skylines next to water for the WIN!!
on a side note: vimeo vids never run smooth for me..why is this?
Vimeo doesn't compress their video as much as youtube so you need a little more processing power to play them smoothly. My old laptop couldn't play them either. They look a lot better though over youtube.
Back to the topic: I like Chicago's video more overall but I liked the street views of LA a lot.

Sometimes it works better when you play the videos on full screen. At least for me that usually fixes it.
And same with the previous poster, I liked the street views of LA but overall I loved the sunrise over Chicago with the glare of the sun going up Trump's Tower and the other glass buildings.
No offense to the OP's timelapse video, but I think this is the best L.A. time lapse video. LA Light on Vimeo
They had an article in the LA Times about it, in terms of how he was able to get to restricted areas (top of skyscrapers, behind the Hollywood sign, etc.)...

what's funny is I opened this thread and was going to post a link to the same video....
Chicago is a beautiful city but being born and raised in la, any video of her always invokes great memories LA is home and there is no place sweeter.
The Chicago video is far more impressive because the skyline is much more impressive and the guy making the vids did such a fabulous job capturing its beauty in all the angles and choices of areas to shoot. The LA vid had an amazing sunset and I really liked the street level shots.
Both videos were amazing but the Chicago one was better, it seemed to show more stuff. But yeah, I liked the street shots in LA. Also, it didn't hurt that the Chicago vid was twice as long as the LA one
How hot would the Chicago video have been if "Old Days" or "Take Me Back to Chicago" was playing in the the background?
