Other than perhaps Cecil County, MD, and the very bottom of New Castle County, DE (both of which have a minuscule population/general influence within the greater Philly area), absolutely not.

Yeah who cares about far reaches of the metro which really has nothing to do with the CITY of Philadelphia. Only thing that matters is that Philadelphia city proper is entirely in the northeastern united states.

Reason: To post map
I know that a lot of New Englanders seem to have this strangely narrow definition of "Northeastern" or "Northern" -- but If you've ever been to Wilmington, you'd know there's absolutely nothing "Southern" about it. Heck, parts of New Jersey are more "Southern" based on latitude.
We all know the Census Bureau definitions are arbitrarily contrived and mean absolutely nothing in terms of culture/historical connections.

It wouldn't surprise me if there were people in Maine or New Hampshire that thought anything south of Boston is not part of the Northeast.
Yes but Queens seems diluted with a lot of recent immigrants from elsewhere. Brooklyn is becoming yuppie/hipster. Statten is probably the most 'pure NY' of the boroughs.
Absolutely. Queens is a popular destination for transplants because it has the most suburban feel, in my opinion anyway.
