Not that this is a critical point or anything but I think I should note that the highest point in the city of Philadelphia is estimated to be approximately 485'. Location would be in the Wissahickon Gorge -NW quadrant of the city(Chestnut Hil).

Here are a few photos of mine . First couple are high above the gorge.

Council Rock- Where the native Lenape Indians held their pow-wows. Statue is to commemorate the chief looking west where the Lenape fled the white man.

I love everything about Portland. It's only flaw is being 80 miles from the coast IMO.

So beautiful IMO
Mountain valleys //www.city-data.com/forum/attac...orge600www.jpg
Dense forests //www.city-data.com/forum/attac...t_hood_800.jpg
Waterfall //www.city-data.com/forum/attac...lls_www600.jpg
Some of the largest trees in the US //www.city-data.com/forum/attac..._gotwww600.jpg

Look at this one //www.city-data.com/forum/attac...ock600-www.jpg

All this in Portland metro, and when you leave Portland metro for the coast you get this //www.city-data.com/forum/attac...cola600www.jpg

and this //www.city-data.com/forum/attac...lalh600www.jpg

It's the most underrated city on this forum for scenery IMO, overlooked by Seattle, San Francisco, LA, San Diego, Denver, etc. And I'm Han, I obviously prefer Portland
