Putting Austin in here feels weird. I love Austin a whole bunch, but Chicago is on a higher tier and New York even higher. Objectively NYC wins hands down, but I do love Chicago, the city I grew up next to and Austin, where every night on that 5 block row on 6th street is an adventure and the live music scene is the best in the country.

The only thing I'd add to this is that New York City really is a humongous city and that it's arguable that the difference between NYC and Chicago for the US is proportionally similar to that from Chicago to Austin. In that sense, what is most reasonable is comparing what the different cities offer in comparison to what the OP wants and what direct opportunities the OP has for each of them.
Weird. I thought Chicago will win.., but NYC won! so I'm going to NYC.
Thanks for helping me guys.. This matter was confusing me..
NYC is the largest city in the US...most global city too. When we're dealing with raw numbers like that, not much "beats" it but it depends on what you want. NYC is *very* expensive. Chicago offers a great alternative to NYC for lesser money. Austin, while it is a good city, is not in the same league yet with either.
And technically if you wanted to be around a real large percentage of Iraqis, then you'd go to Dearborn, MI
nope.. I have chosen NYC because all my friends on the real life told me that NYC is way better than Chicago
lol................. right, so why ask on here anyway? It sounds like you just wanted to start something. "Way better"..NYC has more of everything....actually versus most cities in the entire world, but I don't the average person who has experienced both a lot would say "*way* better."

I see. I have met many Arab people living in Michigan.
