Anyhow, It's high time we held a Bay Area C-D meet to be held in the City sometime before Halloween...imho

I refuse to call New York "the city" if I'm not within the New York Metropolitan Region. Right now, I may refer to DC as the city, though I'm much more likely to use DC. I've said "the city" to tell people I'm moving from the suburbs, but that's about it.

I've come to my senses. NYC is much too grand to be known merely as "the city". I vote that we call it "The Universe". San Fran, "A Galaxy".
