Especially when you consider 3/4 of the national population lives on one side of that map.

Is China better than here because there are more people than the US? What about India?

You really can't compare to huge regions like that, I mean there's like many different areas of those places with varying quality. I'll just go with Western, but both regions have their good sides and downsides. Western has LA and SF and Seattle, while Eastern has NYC and Chicago.

Have to go with the Eastern U.S. on this one. The cities are far more interesting, the landscape is lush and green, and its more important. Plus you have the Great Lakes, which is a fresh water source that the West just doesn't have.

Oh, and much better food and beer.

West. Better scenery, far better climate, wide open spaces, laid back lifestyle. Only problem now is that the west is being overrun with M*******s and New Yawkers bringing their bad attitudes and driving habits out here to the west.
