Yes, they are planted and landscaped..."Nature" has been altered. City parks for the most part are not nature. I laugh at people who go to most of them to get into "nature"... It's like a big flower pot in your yard.

I prefer DC if the area extending just outside the beltway is included. Atlanta doesn't have anything that matches George Washington Parkway or Rock Creek Park. Great Falls is also phenomenal. The Potomac adds a scenic element I've always thought Atlanta lacks.
