Arguably they have made the most concerted effort to bring the industry here. Swing a dead cat these days and you'll hit somebody that's just flown in from L.A.
A lot of areas around the country are convinced that they are the 2nd hollywood. It's really quite ridiculous.
Louisiana has a few projects and they brag about being hollywood south, but are unaware that their governments are outright PAYING these film and production companies to come down. They're also unaware that theres a lot of movie and TV projects in other Southern states as well.
Technically NC. They do have the biggest studio east of California.
