Vancouver, Toronto, Austin, New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, and Miami all belong before Houston. Houston has very little to do with the film industry. And before Im accused of homerism, neither does Dallas when compared to most places.
I thought he meant geographically but now I think cities that aren't ever featured in movies or television in which there are many. Of the top 20 metros the ones that come to mind are:
Riverside, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Tampa
Houston is mentioned in nearly any movie with an element of outer space. "Houston we have a problem?" cut to some guy in Nasa, "We'll get you home safely"
Phoenix unless I'm mistaken (I'm not looking this up) was the setting for Breaking Bad. I suppose still is, I think its still in production.

You didn't understand.I say Houston because this city is totally rejected by Hollywood...Never a movie or a TV show in the fourth largest US city..It's unbelievable...
Is it a good thing or a bad thing that Miami isn't on the poll at all? Because I noticed New York City isn't up there either.
I think he's trying to ask what city does Hollywood often ignore and he assumed NYC and Miami wouldn't make the cut since they both have a ton of movies and television shows in them.
