Maybe Im too concise. Maybe I demand too much honesty and integrity.

I dunno, but if your going to call something Global and then actually 'RANK' cities, then I better not smell something foul cause you will get called out.

Im just saying.

So, do you have the actual data they used yet in their index? Perhaps someone should send them an email asking for all their data and the formula(s) they're using to come up with the index values.

I meant that it's clear that the Global 500 is measuring companies by revenue. It's not different from the Fortune 500.

Right - they both measure the same things. Fortune 500 is for the US and the Global 500 is for the world - both sorted by total revenue descending.

Yes Bajan Yankee is right, I was wrong.

I was referring to Forbes, which does the weighted thing.

Just say 'this is our opinion' and that should suffice.

You probably shouldn't read/put anything into any lists that "rank" cities then since a week later there will be a list with the same subject that is completely different... But who cares, let homers search the net for "info" that matches their blind ideals!!! (including you... )
