Yessssss! Another Houston vs. forum! How about Houston vs. Katmandu?

But in all seriousness, this one may be one of the more logical Houston vs. threads that I've seen given that both cities are rapidly growing Sunbelt metros with similar climates. I like Orlando's location given its proximity to both Gulf and Atlantic coasts, as well as its proximity to major cities such as Miami, Tampa, and Atlanta. However, I would probably lean more towards Houston given its funky character, older architecture, more established music/arts scene, and prominent universities.

Houston has a better atmosphere. More character.

Oh, and I really haven't seen that many Houston polls lately. A lot of NYC polls. A lot of San Diego polls. But I don't think Houston has been too overdone lately.

I guess the choice should be do you want to be in proximity to a major city, or IN a major city?

There is no comparison to the two. Is this just another thread to get insults thrown at either city?
Research both for goodness sake.....find the one that's the best fit for you.

It really is possible to prefer one city to another without hating or being hateful about the other.

All these VS threads are old and boring.

Orlando. Nice suburbs surrounding the area. Easy access to beaches either East coast or West. Lots of things to do. Good Weather

Houston seems like a really cool place except for the fact that it is in Texas, just like the south seems like a nice place except for the fact that it is filled with southerners
