That isnt a true statement. Some are, but certainly not all. Thats why I said what I said.
All you said was that some other cities had larger populations of certain nationalities than those that have consulates for those groups; you never proved that the cities with those consulates don't have sizable populations of those nationalities.

Thats because its pretty obvious. Atlanta has consulates for Argentina, Belgium, Ecuador, Greece, etc. despite not having significant populations of those groups.

And with this we get back to the original point I made about Atlanta, namely, that it's the only truly "international" city in the Deep South. (Miami is the capital of the Caribbean, and South Florida and northern Florida are almost two different states.)

We must also keep in mind that "significant" is relative within this context.
Didn’t realize Atlanta was more diverse than Philly, I guess it makes sense since it is the only game in town for us in the south. But still sounds odd.
Even living in the south, my natural inclination is to think of Atlanta as black and white. It’s sad.
Philly is the only one which was a major destination for various European immigrant groups between the mid 19th and early 20th centuries and drew over 200k African Americans from the South during the Great Migration, while Georgia was the only Southern state where the 1930-1970 average African American population was 100k smaller than the 1920 African American population.
