Erhm no they are not. There might be some people on the streets, but everyone who has been there in the Summer and the winter can notice just how much more activity there is in the summer. Don't lie now.

Who are you tell me what my observations are? Do you know me? I've spent several winter in Chicago and have seen hundreds of people on the streets shopping in the dead of winter. Whether you want to believe me is of no concern of yours.

I enjoy hot and humid summers, albeit Houston is overdone. Still, it would be the easier of the two for me to live with, and does not require excessive clothing.

Because your statements are dead wrong and can be proven by empirical evidence if I'd so waste my time on you, which I won't. Everyone can attest foot traffic falls SHARPLY from summer to winter. That you saw a couple people shopping is an LOL.

Don't go ahead and lecture people when you're wrong. It's just annoying when I read it.

Then don't. Just be quiet when people talk about their observations. Like I said, you don't know me or what I've seen from the many winters I have spent in Chicago and it was way more than a couple. Go get a picture of Panama City and try to pass that off as Downtown Miami since you are so good at falsifying pictures on this very site.

According to this article only 82 new people were willing to suffer through Chicagos brutal winters last year vs the 35,000+ people who came to Houston willing to put up with the hot summers..

Chicago's Population Grew by Only 82 Residents in One Year: Census | NBC Chicago

Quote:
The city grew by just 82 residents during the one-year period, an increase of just .003 percent, officials said.

Though Chicago still maintains its third-place status with 2,722,389 people as of July 1, 2014, Houston closely follows with 2,239,588 residents. The Texas city also grew by 1.6 percent from 2013-2014 with an increase of 35,752 residents.

I know you're wrong. You are lying either way: either your experience with Chicago or what you saw. If someone tells me an elephant is a giraffe I don't need to know where he walked to know he's wrong. And you're wrong. So enjoy and you be quiet and stop boring the website with such observations.

Prove that I'm wrong. What's my first name? What is my ethnicity? Where exactly did I live in Chicago? Where exactly did I see people on the streets during my time in Chicago. If you can't answer any of these questions, I suggest you move on son. And if I'm boring you stop replying to me or just skip my observations and do you.

You tell me an elephant is a giraffe? I don't need your first, or your ethnicity, or what you exactly did. Wrong is wrong. Everyone familiar with Chicago yearround can point this out.

As to your ethnicity, I don't care at all, but I know you're black because you wear that name, Spade. As to your first name, who cares. Who cares to all of it. It doesn't make you less wrong.

LOL. 82 people. Still laughing that an international juggernaut like Chicago only grows by 82 people in one year especially when cities are rediscovering their roots. Even Philly is growing at a decent clip now.
