Last year at university, and I can live anywhere I want.
Things that are important to me: Like to have fun, like an exciting atmosphere, love fashion, eating out at great restaurants, interesting people. Also like rich architectural environment and like areas where people one can bike and walk. Weather isn't so big of a deal..I like warm but I also like change in seasons. I am used to very cold winters. I can do with either.
Money is not a concern. I want to move to NYC so I'm biased from the start, but I honestly haven't traveled extensively in the U.S. (only NY, LA, SF and Miami) and NYC is just the default city American city for us (originally from Sweden). I am open to hearing more. Thank you.

From your criteria, NYC really does seem like your best bet (aside from "interesting people", which is subjective). The other cities you mention offer aspects of the things you're looking for, but NYC is the best in the US for the combination of things you mention, like exciting atmosphere, fashion, restaurants (in terms of quantity and variety), great architecture everywhere, change in seasons, great for walking and biking, etc. Chicago and San Francisco might also be worth looking at (as I'd put them at #2 and #3 based on your criteria) but I still think NYC is far and away your best bet.

Go to New York. While you're living there take the opportunity to visit other American cities.

CHICAGO should fit... Awesome downtown. Young urban Professionals all around downtown. Great gentrified neighborhoods to a condo in the sky. But you left it out of your list... WHY?
Oak Street Beach Downtown and some of the Gold coast. Palm trees were planted only one year...

If money is not a concern, than, probably, yes, New York.
However, right now, there is a certain amount of cross fertilization between New York and Philadelphia because of their close proximity.
Philly has much of what you are looking for. Great restaurants, one of the richest architectural basis in the US,
has a high walkability score, dedicated bike culture, building diversity, gentrifying neighborhoods. Many people who have been to Phila. think it has one of the best downtowns in the country.
The weather in Phila. is virtually the same as NY.
