San Diego. Both are expensive, but SD has a much better climate. I would die if I had to deal with the cloudiness and drizzle most of the time the way the PNW gets it.

Charlotte, NC or San Antonio, TX?

Charlotte...not that far from the coast or the mountains. It's only a few hours for either one.

Hilo, HI or Key West FL

Traverse City, MI...closer to "home", and extremely close to Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes and a few other places to get outside.
