That's what I love about here, we don't have one specific art neighbourhood, when basically half the city is an outdoor art gallery. 20 floor murals in some spots (and a few more coming this year), whole buildings covered, blocks and blocks in the alleyways and in multiple neighbourhoods. Of course, we are hardly talked about on here and even on those rankings that base it off of hashtags. But it is easily top 10 world-wide.

Interesting that the USA Today 2021 winner for Best City for Street Art was one not mentioned in this thread so far.
Can't speak on OKC since I've only driven through the city but Houston #4? I live in Houston and I wouldn't consider it the top city in Texas for best street art. I'd put Austin and Dallas over Houston when it comes to street art.

And how does Philly rank #5? It's gotta be #1 in the country imo. I would also rank Miami and Atlanta over Houston.

Been there recently and no... not even close. There are some shared artists though! You get a better idea of the Wynwood district from above. Lots of arts districts have followed the Wynwood model but for now it is still the most concentrated and immersive for street art in the US. Presently there are tons of new development going in. https://www.thenextmiami.com/?s=Wynwood

Definitely wouldn't say not even close. Five Points/RiNo will probably be about as dense as Wynwood is in a few years. From the looks of it at least.

It's based on votes so don't put too much stock into it. I just thought it was interesting since I ran across the list earlier this week.

And yes, Philly's street art and its public art scene overall is just tops.

This list doesn't even have Philly: https://wayfaringviews.com/world-bes...et-art-cities/

A lot of these are opinionated list ranked by cities the author's visited rather than one compiled from data, because there's no way they could've listed SLC and omitted Philly

These types of rankings need to be titled "my favorite cities for street art" rather than "Best cities for street-art" or at least have a disclaimer.

Sacramento had some pretty amazing street art. There is an annual mural festival called Wide Open Walls where artists from all over the country come to paint amazing murals.
