Uh. Everybody involved in that discussion is black. So that's why I actually asked you this question. The way I took your statement is if you thought having HBCU's is somehow racist.

And what esteemed institution did you obtain your college degree from? Or have you even gone to one?

The connections that people can get from what ever college they went to in order to build their network for their career is still quite important, even in this day of LinkedIn and CareerBuilder.

Exactly what I was going to say. Those alumni networks are still very important, and name recognition regarding institutions still counts as well.
