Also just noticed by looking at this list that middle easterners tend to immigrate to colder cities, except for LA, wonder why?

Definitely NYC or Detroit, outside of the US, Toronto.

Doesn't Dearborn have the highest amount of middle easterners per capita than anywhere else in the country?

Depends really what the OP is looking for. If you are looking to experience America, you can't go wrong with NYC, DC, and LA. You won't face blatant discrimination in many places in the US. But if you are just trying to surround yourself with all foreigners, then Jersey City. I personally think cities like Jersey City embody everything wrong with our economy right now. It's startling to see a park entirely full of hundreds of children and none are speaking English. Especially considering it is a place generating a lot of new high paying jobs. Instead of properly rebuilding north jersey, Christie sold his soul to the devil and imported people in and built a new city for them while the rest rots.

Refugees are not given a choice as to where to settle, so that starts the process for some like Somalis in MN, then with a critical mass of language speakers and economic opportunity (refugees are generally only sent to areas experiencing economic growth), non-refugee immigrants from similar areas start coming as well as family members, people from the same neighborhood etc.

Detroit experienced this inflow a century ago and the ripples still extend.
