Yes Italians have a large amount of Middle Eastern dna from the past. All Europeans have some to a certain extent. Southern Italians have the most if I remember correctly from reading about the subject. They have very little North African ancestry as the Mediterranean Sea was a great barrier in the past. So Italians have it higher than most Europeans? Do northern Italians have it really high too?
Italians are also mixed with Negroids.
They have on average 9% - 10% Sub-Saharan Black ancestry.

No Northern Italians have less Middle Eastern admixture and are more similar to Spanish and Southern French. Ashkenazi Jews cluster with Southern Italians on dna cluster maps. Southern Italians are a very European population though and all Europeans have admixture from different groups. Northern European populations are just older in Europe and have more ancestry from hunter gatherers than farmer populations.
