I'm a troll even tho I think LA is segregated but not to the extent the poster I was disagreeing with. Every city is segregated. But I'm a troll.
You guys are soft
As for sav858: I think LA is segregated but a lot of factors go into BOTH rankings.
I would also agree that Hawaii maybe more integrated because the Asian pop is a larger share of their respective community. But there might be debate at what is the "best". Debate about segregation aside. I thought our conversation was somewhat productive but I got Mr butt hurt on my back.

I'm a troll pointing out that LA isn't as segregated as it appears? Ok... I think you would at least would have made actual points even though you disagree. Lol. Even though I was defending NY in many ways cause I think NY is very integrated compared to the rest of the USA.
But say I'm a troll LMAO.
Your just mad cause I didn't think LA is less urban than Miami even though I conceded numerous times that DC was more urban. But I'm the troll.
Most of Miami looks like the SFV or parts of the SGV. For some reason, that guy acts like it's very urban.
It has defense too. You act as if there are no professional jobs available like engineers, doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc...there. Obviously there are stronger job markets than Honolulu but the OP framed his questioned around the Asian American community.
I did not "act" as if anything.Defense is not a major industry in Honolulu compared to other cities which is my point in general.Sure they have industry and business but its not varied,
At the end of the day im sure the OP is looking for a balance of being able to work with many options available and also be comfortable in his environment.
In this case honolulu is really more of one thing than the other by far.
You are right as the OP was not specific which is exactly why I said Honolulu is not necessarily the best fit as career is more limited by industry.
