Well, that's an advantage for Toronto in terms of having more non-US/Canada routes so that's pretty fantastic as an advantage. It's obviously a landslide for direct flights to different destinations for Toronto in comprison to the Bay Area. How do Chicago and DC compare? Does anyone want to tabulate out all the direct flight non-US/Canada routes for each city for comprison?

But it's not like you can stay at a bar and then take the subway home after. You'd have to already have been on the subway before. Toronto already has a pretty early last call to begin with, but this means you'd have to leave a pretty good amount of time before last call just to catch the subway home.

It's not just Toronto that has this issue. SF does too. Actually I think most cities have this issue. I only know of a few that do not have this issue. I think this is a huge flaw in city design and I know buses exist, but I hate buses, and I'm sure most people would just rather take the subway. It makes everything so much easier. They can hold much more people and being separate from traffic and pedestrians is a huge plus. Also, waiting in a lit subway station late at night beats waiting at a dark street corner.

Obviously NYC's go 24/7
I know Chicago keeps some lines open 24 hours but not all.
I know Philly has 24 hour subways on weekends, but I think only weekends. But that's great for nightlife.
And I think DC's subway stays open later after last call too (but not 24 hours)

Oh, Rotton-0, Rotton-0, Rotton-0 .. just how is making rot out of nothing even possible?

All these crusty skidmarks soiling these pages from all of your corresponding, delerious cheekiness .. well .. crack me up right proper.

I dare any non-Canadian to tolerate watching any youtube-posted footage (bad drivers, bus, cyclists, etc.) of neighbourhoods around the northwest shore of Lake Ontario, asking yourself just how long any possible beauty encountered by the filmers there will be memorable for you .. .. :shudder:

True, but I'm saying the statement is technically correct and it stays open later than both you and I thought it did.

Chicago's obviously stays open the latest and has a later last call and has the best nightlife of the four. Toronto comes afterwards. After that come the Bay Area and DC. DC's metro closes as early as BART does and DC's nightlife is even sleepier than SF's.

As I said earlier, The world's carriers seem to want a stronger presence in The Bay Area than Toronto. All 3 Bay Area airporys offer long haul international flights offered by foreign flag carriers, British Airways and Lufthansa are at both SFO and SJC.
It's even more intriguing when we look at this:

SEPTA's trolley's to west/SW philly run 24/7, and PATCO to Jersey also runs 24/7. During the week if you live in north or south Philly, then your SOL, except on the weekends when all city rail is 24 hours. I might be wrong, but I think only NYC, Philly, and Chicago have a level of 24 hour rail service.

Yeah I just shot an email over to the Pearson airport to tell them their website, first of all looks very tacky and dated, but also, that it is not good to post deceitful information such as logos for airlines that dont really go there. It confused a few Torontonians earlier today.

Always happy to help.

No sources again? C'mon, you know this already. Tokyo (a metro of 30+ million and not Toronto direct flights? Oh really?) So I just checked the Person site quickly and immediately saw that Tokyo was a direct flight from Toronto Persons list of its 105 international direct destination..
https://www.torontopearson.com/en/fl...Destinations/#

Immediately after seeing that, I immediately stopped reading the rest of your "list" (no links/sources = desperation? Possibly...). I guess when I see no links/sources from now on, I will know the deal.

Direct flights to 45 international cities on 4 continents.
vs.
Direct flights to 105 international cities on 6 continents.
(Links to prove this were posted in one of my recent posts. I can post them for you again? Let me know!)

$1,000 USD for a 1 bedroom apartment (or mortgage) in downtown or midtown in Toronto along a heavy or light rail line.
vs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDJYxz55aRw
(By the way, that's not even in SF. I wonder how much it would cost to rent a garage in SF?)

This is why expats can only "dream" (lol) of living in SF? You can post that info-graphic again, where SF is a "dream" destination where can only people "wish" they could live there (but most can't because it's overpriced). Where can I find a link to that info-graphic? It goes well with the YouTube video above.

So Toronto's international flights are mainly from Air Canada and other Canadian carriers, which is fine, but the majority of Bay Area international flights are by foreign flag carriers who desire a presence in this region.

FYI.
100 more airlines can fly in and out of SF. They will all still be flying to the same 45 places though. No Rome. No Brussels. No Cairo. Etc.

45.

The same 45 cities on the same 4 continents. Too bad the Oakland and Sj airports can't help fly to more continents. Bay Area's 3 airports will fly to 105 international cities ooutside of Canada/U.S?

Two extra airports to help SFO, yet they can't crack the 3-digit mark.

45. lol.
