Stay on point--you were arguing that Albuquerque's crime is not so bad. What happened to that notion?

City-Data's numbers are directly from the FBI Uniform Crime Report for Cities, the most comprehensive and complete compilation of crime statistics for cities. City-Data is also the site to which you are currently posting. LOL!

Why, when I have City-Data.com, which exists precisely to disseminate and compile this sort of information?

Actually, Alex keeps proving to us all with his numbers that ABQ is a crime-ridden city.

NM and ABQ are terrible when it comes to any type of crime.
New Mexico now worst in nation for property crime, 2nd worst for violent crimes

I've also shown that it is a much better city than El Paso when it comes to things other than crime, but you all want to dwell on the crime rate because it's literally all you have to make El Paso look good.

El Paso loses every poll and thread pitted against Albuquerque where the posts aren't dominated by butthurt homers with inferiority complexes and chips on their shoulders about their nationally-shunned and insignificant city.

You all need Albuquerque to keep you relevant and in the national consciousness. You even need it here in your own forum. This thread is the hottest thing to happen to it in ages. Before this all you had were theads asking if El Paso is really as behind and lacking as its reputation implies. And countless pitiful threads enquiring whether stores and restaurants which are ubiquitous and present in Albuquerque for years were finally going to come to El Paso. With a lot of disappointment and dashed hopes.

Nice attempts at diversion. You haven't proved anything other than the fact that you need to spend your time more wisely.

Your previous attacks reveal your true mission:

"Proving how stupid El Pasoans and the people attracted to it are."

"I won't stand for outlandish claims and lies like yours." (after being presented with first hand accounts)

"I don't trust the biases of people who move from places disgruntled. El Paso has its share of former residents like you who trash it (sic--doesn't make sense as a parallel argument)."

"The anecdotes of a disgruntled former resident like you mean nothing."

"I will continue to reply to counter his and anybody else's attacks and lies against Albuquerque."

You are right--there should be a moderator reading your comments .

Default Thank ABQAlex for these postings

For the record, you came on the El Paso forum expecting to encounter little resistance to your banalities.

I stated numerous times how much I love New Mexico and Albuquerque. That noted, I like to visit Albuquerque, but I am happier not living in Albuquerque...

The following article was written by one of Albuquerque's wonderful denizens (and one who faces reality)...

Metro Albuquerque counts four times as many murders as El Paso, a city 250 miles down the Rio Grande opposite Cíudad Juarez, Mexico, according to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) for 2013. Albuquerque tallies twice as many rapes and in 2013 recorded 742 violent crimes per 100,000 residents, twice the national rate.

The truth hurts, I know, I know
