The Boise river greenbelt/trails, mountains starting within walking distance of Downtown, a university that takes anyone who can fog a mirror but plays good football, a solid little downtown...Boise clearly.

Boise does have some clear advantages over San Jose. It's also interesting that Boise is beating San Jose in the poll. I know the OP tried to pick a city that he thought San Jose would win easily against but Boise can hold its own in some aspects. I'm predicting an upset in favor of Boise.

My theory has been proven: SJ loses to every city in City Data but wins in reality!!!!!!!!!!! Forbes, Brooking Inst. JJ Momentum, U.S News and World Report and Fortune. It wins in real life.
