After living in Denver, Colorado Springs and SLC...the "mountains" in Boise just do not compare to Colorado/Utah. I didn't like how it stayed light so late (in the summer), like 10 pm and stayed dark longer in the morning. I don't know if its because Boise is located on the far west end of MST or what but that schedule just didn't work for me. I didn't like driving to work in the mornings when its still dark but trying to get to sleep at night when its still light out. Nope. Also, too brown & too cold.

I've never been to Greenville but its looks charming. Very green. Also, nice that its close to two bigger cities, Charlotte & Atlanta.

The biggest city that's even remotely close to Boise is SLC and that's still a 5 hour drive...I felt very isolated there.

My vote goes to Greenville.
The sun sets way too early in California.

Been in Boise three days. I'll take Greenville, more black folk and closer to more large cities...

I have a friend that lived in Boise for about 5 years and he said he doesnt ever remember it snowing, but did get fairly cold at times. What makes the winter bad?
