I know these cities are known on here for being "suburban sunbelt sprawl" But frankly I think all three are underrated when it comes to urbanity and new downtown development. I'm wondering which do you think is overall the most urban?
Dallas has the better arterial road network, but Atlanta has the better transit system.
I originally voted Atlanta, but now I'm thinking it's Dallas. I say this because it just feels overall more like a concrete jungle, while in several parts of Atlanta, it can feel as though you're in the middle of nowhere with all of the trees.
As far as Charlotte? It doesn't come close to either city.

Agreed.
I also give Dallas the edge, due to its "concrete jungle" feel and more pedestrian-friendly core.
Atlanta has you in an urban environment on one block, and immediately in what feels like the woods in the next. (I actually kind of like that about it.)
Charlotte is not in the same league as the other two. Haviing lived in DFW and ATL, Dallas is more urban over a much larger area, but Atlanta is more urban in its core.

Atlanta core is more urban than Dallas. The rest of Dallas though catches up and is more urban than the rest of Atlanta. I echo that Charlotte shouldn't be mentioned with these two.
