Man was shot on the Westside in the 300 block of Wacaster Street. It happened in a home.

Jackson, MS - 69 / 42 per 100K.

Thank you! I really can't explain why the total is so low this year. As was mentioned upthread Pittsburgh and Cincinnati are very similar cities in many respects and also typically have comparable annual homicide tallies. Cincinnati is roughly twice as high as Pittsburgh right now.
