Of course Oklahoma city's metro area is huge however, "city proper wise" Albuquerque is catching up to Oklahoma city.

Which is better overall?
  • Food
  • Quality of Life
  • Schools
  • Weather
  • People
etc, etc, ...........You name it!

I lived in OKC for a long time and have visited ABQ. I like ABQ a lot. The two things that keep me from moving there are lack of greenery and isolation. I like how OKC is close to Dallas, Tulsa, Wichita and not too far from Austin, San Antonio and KC. Abq is a nice city and has a lot going for it but OKC has come a long ways but I feel still has a ways to go. Abq will win this poll because people will always vote for a mountain city over one on the plains.

Albuquerque is a lot prettier. OKC is a rather bleh city without much natural beauty. At least Albuquerque has the mountains and scenic beauty. My vote goes to Albuquerque.

I was going to say, the landscaping in Albuquerque is alot better. More standards I guess? The sprawl in OKC is really gross.

I used to have a condo, right in downtown.. the smoggyest and most light polluted part of town... and I had the best view of the stars.

Thats why I love New mexico so much, You can see the stars anywhere in the state. Even in the heaviest light polluted areas. I later moved to the west side, and living on the mesa with the stars and a view of the lights is fierce!
