Highly doubtful it would be up by end of 2020. Last time I was there, there was not even foundation work, or a hole below the ground, dug up. There was just a heap or a few mounds of what looked like excavated dirt, with the sales office on the property as well.

It seems to have sat in this state since at least 2017 or so...very slow or no progress. My guess is sales are extremely slow.

Anyway, off topic. Thanks tho, was just curious since it would be so high and skyline altering.

*Update, just found this curbed article from Dec 2018: https://atlanta.curbed.com/2018/12/6...l-condo-office

I wonder what the best vantage points are of the Uptown Charlotte skyline from the highway. Imo just about the most important thing that leaves an impression of a city is how it looks when you're approaching it on the freeway.

I-85 N between the Airport and Billy Graham exits (I see it all the time on my Raleigh/Atlanta trips), and I-77 South just before the I-277 interchange. The sightings are brief though, before the bends in the interstate, the trees, and the hills/ embankments take away the view. Views of Atlanta’s Midtown skyline are definitely more prominent from I-85 and I-75.

Yeah, Midtown has nice views. The projects in the pipeline will make it even better.

Why is this thread back open after this long?......My favorite view is actually not a whole skyline view but rather the canyon view at the area I call the "bend" on South Tryon in between The Harvey Gant Center and the Duke Energy center about a block before you cross the bridge over 277. It looks like a canyon going into the SouthEnd skyline which has really added to the Uptown skyline......by the way I really like midtown Atlanta skyline as well...

I prefer Charlotte’s due to the silhouette and it’s just pretty.

Midtown is bigger but I prefer Charlottes.
