These are two of the most exciting skyline districts in the south at the moment. Please don’t compare Atlanta’s whole skyline, just midtown:

Architecture:
Night time look:
Massive feel walking under as pedestrian:
Massive feel looking at them from Ariel view or from highway:
Most potential in the next few years:

Charlotte's skyline is great for its size, but Atlanta is on another level.

Ah. I somehow missed that. In that case I'd give a slight edge to Charlotte.

IINM Charlotte calls it's downtown "uptown". So we're comparing Charlotte's main skyscraper district to Atlanta's secondary skyscraper district?

Midtown may be "secondary" chronologically but it's getting the bulk of new construction and the city's tallest is in Midtown also.

Lol. Don’t let Aries are this.

Anyway, my vote is for Uptown. Midtown is making considerable strides, but Uptown still has it at the moment.

Downtown Atlanta easily triumphs Uptown. Midtown is about neck and neck, with a slight edge to Uptown.
