I can't believe Atlanta got more votes than Dallas. Atlanta's skyline is so spread out and non-congruent.
Dallas has an amazing skyline with diversity in architecture and tons of color.
If you say so. Neon lights doesn't make a skyline. Dallas has a nice skyline but I think Atlanta's is more impressive when you're looking at it from a distance and it's more impressive when looking from a high rise in each city. You may be right about architecture I'm not sure.

Not really, and Atlanta has four separate skylines.
Downtown/Midtown is more impressive than Downtown Dallas/Uptown. Buckhead is it's own thing, and there is no equivalent in DFW. Perimeter Center and Cumberland/Galleria basically mirror Las Colinas, Plano or Richardson once it's more developed.

It's funny how many cities without a water setting generally don't have a very impressive skyline. Out of these options, I would easily give it to Dallas. It's one of the better skylines around with or without water.
Just to contrast the poll results; I think Atlanta has some cool buildings but the skyline is so scattered and doesn't have a flow to it - it looks like an assortment of small scattered skylines to me (though many buildings are great individually). LA has a nice backdrop but lacks many interesting buildings, and honestly is highly unimpressive for the size of the metro.
