You said you were "being kind" by posting the CSA metric as if it would get worse by MSA. The gap actually closed as I stated it would. Nonetheless SF's averages are higher by a smidget.

This gap actually gets wider.

2018 Median Earnings, Foreign Born Males/Females:
$74,271/ $61,065 San Francisco MSA

They are estimates but that’s the same across demographic groups. If nothing else it gives an idea of scale.

You're cherry picking statistics for the sake of the thread. I'm referring to the median earnings for Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics that you posted, nothing else.

Which makes sense. Outside of the South, the only metros that are at least 20% black are Detroit, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Flint and Trenton. This considering that the Detroit and Flint metros, as well as the Philadelphia and Trenton metros are adjacent to each other.
