I don't know what Houston is right now but they officially had 49 homicides through the end of February. I'm guessing they're at around 70 right now (which would make them similar to Dallas in homicide rate).

Detroit used to be but it's improved a lot in recent years.

NYC is officially at 67 per NYPD. Some of your numbers are not updated either or not accurate. Chicago has 98 for example, not 100. As we both know, it's hard sometimes to find very up to date numbers. And I never claimed mine are up-to-date to the minute. The vast majority are up-to-date within the last week.
