Sorry! I literally just copied the criteria from the Boston/Vegas thread verbatim cuz it seemed pretty generic at first glance! In hindsight, I would’ve omitted that one.

Otherwise your post rocked! Thanks for responding!

No worries at all and thanks for responding! Haha I don’t think there’s any problem in delineating differences and comparing even when there are clear changes in levels between the two, I just figured I’d joke a bit that’s all.

I feel like even though these two are on different levels, as you mention there are not small number of people that would actually end up preferring Orlando still-I think the poll reflects that well!

There is nothing wrong with comparing the two. I actually enjoy threads like this. All I said was that it’s a strange comparison, which it is.

Weird... they don’t belong in the same conversation. What’s next, Gainesville vs Los Angeles?

This seems like an insult to both Orlando and Gainesville, don’t you think? Perhaps New Orleans, Portland (OR), or SLC vs Los Angeles would be more fair?

A bit ridiculous that you think SF and Orlando are even remotely comparable. I don’t even like SF that much, but I can recognize and respect that it’s in a completely different tier.

I agree that it’s in a “different tier”, but there are plenty of ways that Orlando is a more desirable city and metro area!

Not the least are affordability, nightlife, and diversity.

Housing in San Francisco is simply unaffordable. Few can actually afford to live there without having two jobs.

The society in San Francisco is simply bankrupt. Weather's just good enough where the homeless are rampant. The drug scene there is completely in your face too.

Looking at the listed criteria, the comparison makes more sense than it might appear, as there are several categories in which ORLANDO can definitely hold its own.
