By "green" I mean "lush" not "environmentally friendly." Which Midwestern/northeastern city feels like it has the most plant growth?

Agree the steep hillsides create a lot of dense natural forests.

Even parkland in cities like Chicago tend not to be dense foliage

Conceptually DC would be up there. It has both leafy neighborhoods with healthy tree canopies and a high percentage of park land including forests like Rock Creek and Fort Dupont Parks.

Many Cleveland neighborhoods have great tree canopies and the forests of our MetroParks add to a very large amount of lush greenery around the area.
