Au Sable Forks, New York or Forks, Washington?
Been to both. I like the Adirondacks but Forks, WA is central to Olympic NP with mountains, lakes, hot springs, rain forests, and Pacific ocean beaches all within an hour's drive so I pick Forks.

Jekyll Island, GA or Amelia Island, FL?
Amelia Island
I’d lean Amelia just because I haven’t been there in a very long time and Fernandina Beach looks very charming. Jekyll is nice though, I love the area around the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. There’s not much else on Jekyll though so tourists will probably need to wonder over to St. Simons for more to do.
Brevard, NC or Boone, NC
