Here is a high income, all black block group in Hempstead NY(based on 2020 5 year info.): https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...p-3-nassau-ny/
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6895...7i16384!8i8192

https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6894...7i13312!8i6656

Another nearby block group in Hempstead(Uniondale SD): https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...p-4-nassau-ny/
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6883...7i13312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@40.6887...7i16384!8i8192

That area of the village of Hempstead has other predominantly black, middle class block groups. Between Hempstead and Uniondale schools, while Hempstead has improved in recent years, Uniondale historically has been a better SD. Uniondale also has a higher black percentage in terms of enrollment as well. With that said, many may opt for private options like Holy Trinity a co-ed Catholic HS in Hicksville, which has a good sized black/diverse student enrollment: https://www.niche.com/k12/holy-trini...hicksville-ny/
https://www.holytrinityhs.org/

More Hempstead info.: https://www.villageofhempstead.org/3...aylyn-Hobbs-Jr

https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...ST5Y2020.S1903
https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19113B

Downtown: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7076...7i16384!8i8192

The thing about that area of Hempstead is that it is next to similar block groups in Baldwin, Uniondale, Freeport and even Roosevelt. So, it is an area of Nassau County/Long Island with a good concentration of highly to predominantly black, middle class block groups.

I'd rather live in the suburbs for NYC, and city proper for Philly, Wilmington, and Boston.

Yeah, it goes from quiet and middle class to ghetto quickly lol. It’s not worth it at all . Just move to Pennsauken if you’re on a tight budget but need to be close to Camden for whatever reason.

I forgot to mention that this is a charter school option in the village: https://data.nysed.gov/profile.php?instid=800000063985

There are associated options in Uniondale too.

Here is a predominantly black, middle class block group in Pawtucket's Fairlawn neighborhood: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8631...7i13312!8i6656

An adjacent block group: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8692...7i16384!8i8192

Another Fairlawn block group: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8730...7i13312!8i6656

This neighborhood looks like it may be the best bet in terms of a substantial black middle class presence in RI.

A couple of nearby block groups in Providence, Charles neighborhood: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8569...7i16384!8i8192

Hope neighborhood: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8530...7i16384!8i8192

Another one in Cranston: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7835...7i16384!8i8192

Another one in North Providence: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8618...7i13312!8i6656

Another one in Johnston(next to the one above): https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8607...7i13312!8i6656

East Providence and the Newport area have multiple block groups in the 10-20% range that are middle class as well.

Central Falls actually has a block group with a decent percentage as well: https://censusreporter.org/profiles/...providence-ri/
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.8869...7i16384!8i8192

In terms of an educational program option, this is one that families in NYC could use: https://www.prepforprep.org/

Similar to what MDAllStar has been doing in other threads, I used just the city propers on the list(inc. Hartford) to show what percentage of Black households make at least $75,000 or more.

Boston-33.1%

Harrisburg-16.8%

Hartford-23.2%

Jersey City-32.2%

Newark-21.9%

NYC-35.1%

Philadelphia-22%

Providence-23.8%

Wilmington-20.5%

This is using 2020 5 year Census information, source: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...5Y2020.B19001B

I may add some other cities later...
