Its about transportation. Both score E or D ratings. I cant help that?

Im a stickler when it comes to this since I literally work in GIS/Transportation Systems now. Your comparing bad and worse.

But you didn't know that San Diego has an extensive light rail system that is expanding.

And there is commuter rail ICYDK:

Coaster

Sprinter

And Metrolink, LA's commuter rail system has a stop in Oceanside, which is a suburb in Northern San Diego County.

I'm not saying that San Diego is comparable to the major East Coast cities, but it does have far more robust public transportation than VB does. VB voted down the LRT system that Norfolk has.

Yeah i mean.. if its not there yet, i cant judge it. San diego might have better transit but yeah, its small enough where it doesnt impact more than 10% of commuters, so i dont want to overhype it. Virginia Beach mainly won for me when I rated it for traffic since VBX area is pretty easy to move around. If your transit system isnt accessible to more than 10% of the population to use, i just use commute and traffic since that will ultimately be the main source of commuting. We all have different parameters.

Also, yeah i really wish they didnt shoot down that proposal down to The Beach. Atleast to the VB Town Center would have nice. But im hopeful for proposition 2024

Its pretty easy to see if a city doesnt have more than 10% of its workforce commuting by rail.

If not, im judging by traffic. Still give them a D and E average.. find someone who rates them higher and get back to me.

San Diego has better public rail transit than several larger Metro's. It also has better freeways and a much better Airport compared to VB. To claim Virginia Beach has superior infrastructure is just...odd.

As previously stated, I clearly outlined that I separated airport from infrastructure from transportation. I put SAN as the better airport over ORF by miles because SAN blows out ORF in every way, bar traffic to/from.

Sorry, but this is a non-answer. What infrastructure in Virginia Beach do you find superior to the same category in San Diego?

Highways and Traffic. Public Transportation is poor in both so it won't make or break it for one another.

Besides it like an edge to VBX, your making it sound like im blowing VBX out of the water.
