Besides it like an edge to VBX, your making it sound like im blowing VBX out of the water.
So no rail infrastructure whatsoever (including Amtrak) vs a decent and greatly expanding LRT system, 3 Commuter Rail systems and great Amtrak service doesn’t matter at all in your opinion because nothing but NY and Chicago count? Got it.

Right. And San Diego has far more Highway miles and infrastructure than VA Beach too.

San Diego is more than twice its size. And the congestion is almost twice as much. How is that not a facot for both car dependent cities?

Thats not what i said, i said they both are inadequate for the size of its population. So im not scoring them on that…

https://wallethub.com/edu/best-worst...drive-in/13964 Hmm i cant be that far off, both rank rather poorly in infrastructure.

So whats the point of going back and forth and trying to derail the thread? Just move it to PM and stop clogging it up.

VA beach only has one limited access highway and it’s grid system is pretty much limited to the beachfront. San Diego’s freeway system was more or less built out with almost no cancellations except for one. It’s congestion is nowhere near as bad as the overburdened Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel if we’re taking metro areas. It’s the least congested of the major California metros. Outside of rush hour, San Diego’s freeways flow quite freely. VA beach can get pretty bad during the summer season all the time. Not sure where you’re going with this tbh.

Im not. Your judging it differently than i am. Your not going to agree on points 100% of the time.

My office is in San Diego, pre-pandemic I was there often. The only congestion I ever see is the reverse commute up I-5 to UTC/La Jolla, and into Downtown on weekend nights. After Phoenix, it's the least congested major Metro I've driven in.

We aren't clogging anything up, or trying to derail the thread. You made a very odd choice, and have an even odder explanation. This is a discussion forum...
