Seattle definitely.
San Francisco is pretty polarizing in my experience though.
Yea hmm pretty sure those days are long gone. Tech scenes are both a blessing and a curse. Add in a bunch of hippies and it's a done deal.
Yup - NYC is seeing a resurgence. San Francisco and Seattle got lackluster ratings about nightlife. They aren't known as "fun" cities anymore among folks under 35. I would argue Austin and Nashville have better nightlife than SF and Seattle.
I have been spending tons of time in Indianapolis lately. The city has really become quite the hipster spot and its neighborhoods are wayyy underrated on CD. I disagree with it being this high but any thoughts on these rankings? Ditto OKC. Surprised to see Jax there.
It looks more like how you'd expect, with coastal cities dominating.
Nah, I think the third map is most accurate (cities with most high-rated trendy locations). It swaps out Oklahoma City, Louisville and Milwaukee in the "trendy locations per capita" with Portland, Denver, and Sacramento. That seems more accurate, specifically because OKC and Milwaukee are still pretty standard...but especially compared to Denver or Portland.
